what I do
I provide insight regarding the curation, set–up and logistics of space — using an energetic framework to ground your event into felt success.
The framework involves energetic mapping of a space, strategic thinking about how the 3D setting and assets can be organised, and how these aspects come together to amplify a felt experience for an audience or participants.
consultation
We speak about the goals & objectives of the event, how you want it to feel, key logistical points.
I provide feedback and perspective of how this can be most effectively actualised in 3D space. If you have venue ideas, moodboards or any suggestions, this is where they are shared.
Consults are generally offered via phone or video call, however in person meetings can absolutely be arranged. You will receive a follow up email covering what was discussed as well as any additional pointers that you may find useful for event execution.
If additional questions arise during your planning process, impromptu consultations are available at any stage of the project. These sessions can vary in duration and fees will reflect that.
Initial consults begin at $100/hr.
venue research
Don’t yet have a venue in mind? Feeling choice–fatigue or outcome uncertainty around choosing a venue? Leave the research to me.
I collate information & images, make phone calls to venues, etc. and provide insight about how each venue could fulfill event outcomes.
You can provide up to 3 venue suggestions. I trace the felt–experience and future–timelines of each and advise you on the potential outcome. Get insight about what your patrons will experience before you confirm the site.
site visits
Site visits can be arranged to feel into the 3D space and understand the venues physical assets — furniture, sound, staging, etc. These can be undertaken with or without you present.
You will receive a 1 page document covering everything that was spoken about and felt–through during the visit to assist with informed decision making.
Site visits are offered individually or as an add–on in the venue research stage.
in—person logistics + curation
This is a full–day or multi–day offering (depending on your event) where I am present for the entire execution of the pre–event : all physical, 3D logistics in the space.
I provide precise guidance on where to place every single object inside of a space to create a particular desired effect.

— where the sound is positioned
— where artists, stages, djs, tables, artworks, etc are positioned to give everyone maximum space to breathe and let the energy circulate in a space correctly.
Areas will be pinpointed where energy gets expanded or compressed in a space. Critical spatial choices are made, down to the cm. The cm can be the difference between something being slightly off or perfect.
Presence at the event itself is an additional fee. The benefit of having me present at your event is that elements of the experience can be adjusted and responded to in real–time.

Hello!
I am Julia, and I am passionate about creating spaces.
A motto in my life has always been intention and feeling is everything. Intention — execution — felt experience is where my expertise lay.
I have over a decade of experience curating, organising, consulting for and producing events across a range of areas, both in an independent and formal capacity.
My arts background extends to a range of practices including performance, photography, sound, sculpture, exhibition curation and music programming — all of which have been greatly influenced by, and further inform, my perception of space and energetics.
At the beginning of 2022 I graduated from the National Art School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculpture). I also hold a Certificate IV in Colour & Design, and a Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and New Business. My educational background has further cemented my skills in colour theory, spatial knowledge, detail-orientation, resourcefulness, organisation and production.

It is the curation of space — here space translates to the physical structure of a room or area, including the constraints and objects/assets. To curate means to pull together, sift through, select.
What kind of events do you work with?
Exhibitions, workshops, pop–ups, restaurants, small–medium scale music events, staging for performances, logistics for festivals and programs, weddings and celebrations (birthdays, engagements, etc).
If you are creating something that is not listed here please get in touch — my skills are easily transferable across different event formats.
What types of questions do you consult on?
I provide insight regarding space / location, the nitty gritty regarding logistics (object placement, volume levels, design + coordination), and creative direction — art, music, colour schemes, flowers, lighting, decoration, etc.
We want to work with you. How early should we contact you?
This depends on the event format. The general rule is the earlier the better, especially for larger–scale projects, multi–day events, weddings, festivals, etc. Single day events such as birthdays, exhibitions or small–medium scale music events generally require 2–weeks notice (subject to the venue already being confirmed).
If your event is less than a fortnight away, please still inquire as it may be possible to make accommodations.
Do you answer multiple curatorial, spatial + logistical questions in a single session?
If they are all regarding the same event or series, yes!

What is the scale of events you work with?
My expertise is in small–medium scale events (up to 250 people) however large scale events are welcomed.
We are not based in Australia. Can you offer your services?
Absolutely — I am always interested in expanding my portfolio overseas. Depending on the event, consults are offered via phone or video call, and travel can also be arranged.
Where do in–person consults take place?
Wherever you like. I do not work from an office so we can meet at a location of your choosing — your own office or home, a cafe, a library, outdoors, etc.
What is the pricing for packages?

We are working to tight budget constraints but still want to consult you. Do you offer discounts?
